I recently tried the famed Biologique Recherche Facial in Malaysia and was excited to achieve that much touted ‘BR Glow’. Here’s my experience:
The facial started with a thorough cleansing of my skin using the Lait VIP O2, which is a gentle milk cleanser that removes dirt and impurities withoutstripping away the natural oils. Next, my esthetician applied the P50 PIGM 400, which is a exfoliating mask that contains lactic acid and salicylic acid to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores.
After the mask was removed, my esthetician used the Serum Placenta, which is a nourishing serum that contains vitamins and antioxidants to hydrate and brighten the skin. She massaged the serum into my skin using a gentle circular motion, which was very relaxing.
Next, my esthetician applied the Masque Visolastine, which is a firming mask that contains collagen and elastin to improve the skin’s elasticity and firmness. She left the mask on for about 15 minutes while I enjoyed a relaxing neck and shoulder massage.
Finally, the facial concluded with the application of the Crème VIP O2, which is a hydrating cream that contains hyaluronic acid and vitamin C to nourish and protect the skin. My esthetician massaged the cream into my skin until it was fully absorbed.
Overall, I was very impressed with the Biologique Recherche Facial. My skin looked and felt amazing afterwards, and I definitely achieved the ‘BR Glow’ that I was hoping for.
